- A No Code Heroes Event Write Up
Thursday the 11th of November saw the inaugural event in our No Code Heroes series. It featured industry-leading insight from the 17-year-old digitalisation firm, as well as an appearance from their longstanding Oil and Gas Assurance client, Intertek.
It kicked off with our Founder, Zandra Moore giving us an introduction to the possibilities of no code, and how the innovations can help shape the future of society.
Digitalisation Veteran
Zandra then handed us over to the man of the hour, TAAP’s CEO Steve Higgon. Steve started off by giving us a run-down of the role that TAAP plays and background into his 17 years with the global digitalisation firm with some amazing case studies, such as their work with the Pensions & Life Insurance industry, and their industry defining innovations with their Credit Management client where they took a process that was previously 4 weeks long and automated it to take 4 seconds!
International Intertek
Steve then moved onto their work with Intertek. The longstanding client claims to be the biggest company you’ve never heard of. James Canham, our next speaker explained how this is clearly no embellishment. Intertek is a FTSE 100 firm with 46,000 employees and turnover just shy of 3 billion a year.
The global inspection company have 15,000 field engineers in service who rely on TAAP’s innovative, no code solution for their day-to-day operations. The digitalisation firm provided Intertek with an app that allowed engineers to submit reports, receive feedback and send images. All while confined within the parameters of the highly confidential and secure no code solution. James explained how it worked for Intertek because it was built by those who know the business best, non-technical engineers who know what processes need to be integrated and what features needed to be included. James then told us the impressive fact that the entire solution was built, deployed and is managed by two non-technical staff globally.
We think it’s safe to say that our first No Code Hero event was an enormous success, we are pleased to say that we had our highest ever turnout for this one, make sure to check out Steve’s slides for this event here.
